Maple Tree Montessori

It was a wild ride into Halifax last night to present to parents at the Maple Tree Montessori Preschool--but worth every moment of torrential rain!
What a lovely school--healthy, holistic and nurturing! It was so great to meet the parents and share with them info about how to handle tantrums, how to prevent them as well as other behavioural problems–-through diet, home environment and more––and how to help children settle into school all under the Big Picture umbrella of Social Artistry.
It was wonderful to hear their stories and questions and to share an evening with people so devoted to our children. As we drove home I was deeply reminded why I wrote the First Five Years and of the potential we all have to make a difference in the world––one child at a time.
